The Motorola DSR505 combines a full-featured digital satellite receiver with an advanced HDTV decoder to deliver dazzling high-definition programming and an easy-to-use interactive menu.
Television has never looked better than with High-Definition TV. The DSR505 includes multiple output connectors and formats, including a Digital Video Interface (DVI) and Component Video output for the highest quality output to capable televisons. The DSR505 also provides a full selection of Standard-Definition video and audio outputs to connect with any home theater component.
The DSR505’s enhanced viewer menu system contains an interactive program guide (IPG) that provides extensive program information to help viewers plan for the week or weekend ahead. The easy-to-use viewer menu system is conveniently integrated in the remote control, or use the full-access front panel for quick set-up and installation.

Star Choice Communications Inc. launched in May 2005 their new High Definition Digital Video Recorder satellite receiver, the DVR530 HD. The 530 reciever provides the Canadian satellite TV market with the latest technology - combining a Digital Video Recorder with a dual tuner and HD.
DVR530 HD satellite receiver will revolutionize the way our customers watch TV. Starchoce customers can now pause live TV and rewind to create their own instant replays. Plus, the dual tuner offers the ability to record a TV program while watching another channel.
In addition to the dual tuner, the DVR530 has a 160 GB hard drive, which allows customers to record over 130 hours of Standard Definition or over 25 hours of High Definition. It's the only DVR in the satellite market that can record both SD and HD programming. A must have for any home theatre enthusiast, the DVR530 has a DVI output, providing enhanced crystal-clear 100% digital picture.
