DirecTV Receiver D10

Experience
the joys of digital-quality Satellite TV programming with a
receiver
that gives you thorough parental controls for peace of
mind.
|
|
The D10 receiver is designed to deliver digital-quality audio and
video for those that sign up for DirecTV's satellite television
service. The black set-top box can sit above or below the TV, and it
is equipped with S-video and audio/video connections to link with
the TV and other related components.
Among the features that distinguish the D10 are an automatic timer
that can be set to tune in favorite channels on schedule, an
advanced program guide that stores up to 3-1/2 days of program
listings and can be viewed while watching a program in the main
window, memory for favorite channels, Caller ID display
(subscription to a Caller ID service is necessary), and a search
function that helps users select programs by title, actor, or
keyword. The universal remote control is nicely designed for
convenience and can be used to control two additional components,
such as a DVD player and VCR.
DirecTV is currently offering a
package that provides four D10 receivers (for four rooms) for free,
provided customers agree to a one-year commitment.
