This is a DW4020 install on G11/990. I was completely undersold! I was told 400kbps downloads; Oracle software downloads average 1.1Mbps over a 70 minutes - yes, that's a 680MB download! Uploads are what I expected: ~54kbps or so.

I'm using the DW4020 to hook into my Linux firewall machine. The hookup was 100% seamless!

SSL, SSH, http, ftp all work without a flaw. I just had the unit installed three days ago and so far, rock solid. I was a Starband user a couple of years ago. For those who recall the 'micro outages', so far nothing like that. I have left an ssh connection running for nearly 24 hours without any issues.

At this point I'm cautiously optimistic. I think time will tell whether what seems too good to be true is ... really true! I plan on running my business via the satellite connection so this _must_ work flawlessly!

I should note that the company I went with has top-notch pre-sales (no question is too mundane) and a top-notch installer.

My only reservation in writing such a glowing review is that more people might sign up and clog up _my_ satellite. heh heh!

Last Sunday I received a satellite system for my home. I want you to know I am extremely pleased with the support I received from HighSpeedSat Systems' customer service and installation staff.

When Don Hayes' installation truck could travel no further up my snowy, slippery, hilly, rural driveway, he made the rest of the trip on foot. He remained complaint-free and professional despite harsh winter conditions. While I waited for technical support to solve an e-mail account problem, Don hung around an extra 20 minutes to make certain all was working.
Many companies claim to offer excellent service, but most, in my opinion, don't deliver. I'm happy to say HighSpeedSat and C-COM Satellite Systems does.

Satellite was mounted on roof behind chimney and it was perfect. These guys know what they are doing! Very careful..excellent installation! Yes, all works well. Fast connection. I am very pleased.
